Annual report 2025
Promotion to the Bundesliga
In our second year we were at the front in both formats. We narrowly missed both titles, but we reached the Bundesliga.
ResultPromoted to the Bundesliga
The season
After the learning year of 2024 we started the season with a clear aim: to get to where we could already have been in our first year. The team showed it all season, with more calm in close games and more experience in the decisive moments.
We had a real chance of winning both the T20 and the 50-over competition. In both we fell short in the end. Promotion to the Bundesliga, the top league of the German Cricket Federation, was what we had set out to do this season, and we got there.
Highlights
- Promotion to the DCB Bundesliga, the top league in 50-over cricket
- In the title race in both T20 and the 50-over competition
- Both titles missed only narrowly, the team held its own in both formats to the end
- A year in which potential turned into results
What improved compared with 2024
Experience in close games
What cost us promotion in 2024 we took with us into 2025 and handled better in the games that mattered.
Consistency in both formats
We were not strong in just one competition but equally so in T20 and over 50 overs.
From contender to title challenger
The club that still had to learn in its first year became a team that plays for titles.
